The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have mutually agreed to adjust the duration of Pakistan’s tour match against the PCC Select XI at the County Ground in Beckenham.
According to Kent Cricket, the warm-up match has been reduced from a four-day fixture to a three-day contest. Originally scheduled to commence on Wednesday, August 12, the match will now begin on Thursday, August 13, running through Saturday, August 15.
Tournament organizers announced that spectators who purchased tickets for the canceled Wednesday play will receive full refunds in the coming days. Existing tickets purchased for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday remain fully valid. The revised fixture serves as Pakistan’s final preparation ahead of the three-Test series against England, which kicks off with the first Test at Leeds on August 19, followed by encounters at Lord’s and Edgbaston.
