Adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Yahya Rahim Safavi, has warned that if the United States or Israel launch another attack on Iran, Tehran could expand the scope of the conflict to the Indian Ocean. According to a video released by the Iranian news agency Fars, Safavi stated that the confrontation has already moved beyond the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz into the Red Sea. He noted that any further escalation could push the frontlines even further into the Indian Ocean and potentially beyond.
