Following instructions from senior officers, District South Police carried out checking operations at various tea cafes, dhabas, and open spaces across different areas of the city.
According to police, SHOs of Sahil, Darakhshan, Defence, Clifton, and Boat Basin, along with their contingents, conducted operations in DHA Phase 8, Block 9, Saddar Cantonment, and various blocks of DHA. Suspects were screened using Talia devices, while the credentials of other present individuals and dhaba employees were also checked and verified. According to the Spokesperson SSP South, the primary objective of these checks is the timely identification of suspects, prevention of narcotics, and further strengthening the law and order situation in the city.
