Police in the Matta area of Swat conducted a large-scale search operation based on intelligence reports, apprehending six heavily armed individuals.
According to police sources, law enforcement personnel cordoned off the targeted area from all sides before taking the suspects into custody. A substantial cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the detainees, including two 7.62mm Submachine Guns (SMGs), various rifles, handguns, multiple magazines, and hundreds of live rounds.
Authorities confirmed that a case has been registered against the arrested individuals and further investigation is currently underway. Police officials emphasized that targeted operations against suspicious and non-local armed individuals across the region will continue uninterrupted.
