Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi visited the US Consulate in Karachi, where he was warmly welcomed by the Consul General and diplomatic staff. He attended the celebration of the United States’ 250th Independence Day as the guest of honor.
Addressing the event, Governor Nihal Hashmi congratulated the American government and people on their milestone 250th anniversary, stressing the need to further consolidate longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and the United States. He noted that expansive opportunities exist for bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, education, and technology. Furthermore, the Governor emphasized that Pak-US ties are built on mutual respect, shared interests, and people-to-people connections, which can be reinforced by exploring new avenues for economic partnership. The ceremony was attended by various diplomatic representatives, government officials, and prominent figures from diverse walks of life.
