Pakistani film star Meera has become emotional following the cancer diagnosis of her sister, Shaista Abbas, and has appealed to the British government to relax travel restrictions so she can be with her sister during this difficult time. Meera shared on social media that her sister resides in the United Kingdom and is currently undergoing a challenging phase of cancer treatment; however, due to entry restrictions in the UK, she is unable to visit her. The actress requested British authorities to grant her permission on humanitarian grounds to travel to her sister so she can care for and support her during this trying period. Following Meera’s appeal, fans have also offered prayers for Shaista Abbas’s swift recovery.
