A foreign woman, identified as Diana, who was allegedly subjected to a group assault in Lahore, was produced before a local court in Cantt Kutchery under strict security. Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Sagheer is presiding over the hearing, during which the victim’s statement is being recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
According to police, a case regarding the alleged assault has been registered at the Defense-C police station, and investigations are actively underway. Authorities reported that five individuals, including women, have been detained for questioning. These detainees are believed to be relatives of the primary suspects, and police are using information gathered from them to track down the main culprits.
The victim stated to investigators that she had been staying in Pakistan for business over the past 15 to 20 days. According to her complaint, on the night of September 25, two unknown women invited her to a café for dinner, where three unknown men were also present. She alleged that the suspects later took her on a car ride to a flat under the pretext of sightseeing, where she was drugged, rendered unconscious, and subsequently assaulted by the three men.
