Users can now fully customize their control panel by organizing quick toggles, resizing tiles, and adjusting the positioning of the brightness slider and media player controls. Google is also refining its design system with advanced color hue sliders and broader blur effects planned for the stable release.
In addition to visual upgrades, Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 introduces vital anti-fraud security safeguards designed to shield users from social engineering scams. The system now displays mandatory confirmation dialogs when users dial call-forwarding codes, preventing unauthorized call redirection tactics frequently exploited by scammers. The update is currently rolling out to enrolled Pixel testers ahead of its public release.
