Iran has published satellite imagery depicting aircraft hangars at Jordan’s Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, doubling down on claims that U.S. F-35 stealth fighters were struck during recent retaliatory operations.
In an official statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) asserted that the visual evidence was released to present facts directly to the global public, while calling on international media outlets to bypass censorship. Tehran previously claimed that three American F-35 jets were completely destroyed and others severely damaged during missile strikes on the facility.
However, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) previously rejected the claims, stating that no American aircraft sustained damage and that incoming Iranian missiles and drones were either intercepted or failed to reach their targets.
As of now, the satellite photos released by Iranian media have not been independently verified, and U.S. defense officials have yet to issue a formal response regarding the specific images. Military analysts emphasize that both sides remain locked in a high-stakes information warfare campaign alongside physical military standoffs.
