Reflecting on the result, he emphasized that the team must acknowledge its tactical mistakes and focus on learning from them.
Babar also commended debutant fast bowler Razaullah for his record-breaking counter-attacking innings of 81 runs from 63 balls in the second innings. Admitting he was previously unaware of Razaullah’s batting credentials beyond his first-class century, Babar shared that the entire squad enjoyed the pacer’s spirited lower-order fightback.
England comfortably chased the target of 130 runs for the loss of two wickets on the fourth day.
