Technology company Meta has started rolling out a new feature in its messaging application, WhatsApp, allowing users to save their favorite songs directly from the status update editor.
Under this new feature, users can star any song in the music catalog to easily find it again later. This facility will be particularly useful for users who frequently use their favorite tracks in their status updates. Additionally, WhatsApp has included an option to select the duration for music, enabling users to decide how long a song should play in their status.
Users can also select a specific section of a song by moving the waveform selector forward or backward to choose the desired portion. Through this new feature, users can select their favorite tracks from Meta’s extensive music catalog and include them in their status updates according to their preferences.
This feature is being rolled out to users in a phased manner, so some users may not receive access immediately.
