The official exhumation process for the body of murder victim Mir Raza Ali has commenced in Karachi under judicial supervision to facilitate critical forensic and DNA testing.
Laborers have begun opening the concrete grave in the presence of key authorities, including a judicial magistrate, police surgeons, and members of a specially constituted medical board. Once the body is retrieved, the medical board will collect essential tissue and bone samples for laboratory forensic examination.
In addition to collecting samples from the deceased, the medical team decided to collect DNA samples from Mir Raza’s family members, including his father, mother, and sister, to conduct comparative analysis. The victim’s father, Mir Hussain, was present at the gravesite overseeing the procedures, while his mother remained at a designated tent outside the graveyard facility.
