The legal battle between former Sindh Assembly member Ghulam Rasool Unar and his ex-wife over alleged AI-generated photos has taken a new turn before an Additional District and Sessions Court in Karachi South.
The former lawmaker had filed a petition alleging he was deceived into marriage through fake AI-altered images. During the latest hearing, counsel for the ex-wife, Ghulam Farooq Abbasi Advocate, filed preliminary objections to the suit, stating that the petition misrepresents facts and falsely alleges contact via social media.
Petitioner’s counsel Aamir Nawaz Waraich sought time to review the response. The court granted the request and adjourned proceedings until August 29.
