Security forces executed a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kurram District, eliminating four militants associated with Fitna-al-Khawarij, including high-profile Afghan national Obaidullah Saad.
According to security sources, Obaidullah Saad, son of Ghulam Ghaus Salehi, was a resident of Shahi Qila village in the Logar province of Afghanistan. Authorities confirmed that Saad was directly involved in multiple high-profile terrorist attacks within Pakistan. Officials reiterated that intelligence operations targeting hostile cross-border infiltrators will continue without compromise to safeguard national security and public safety.
Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for their high level of professional execution during the operation. Expressing pride in the armed forces, Naqvi stated that the nation stands firmly behind security personnel in their ongoing counter-terrorism campaign to restore lasting peace across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
