Public demand for the establishment of smaller provinces and new administrative units has gained significant momentum across the country.
Echoing sentiments seen in other regions, the people of Balochistan have raised their voices in favor of new provinces and administrative units. Residents of Lasbela expressed that if four more provinces are created within Balochistan, it would undoubtedly be a positive and welcome step.
Citizens noted that if Lasbela becomes a separate province, local people will no longer need to travel all the way to Quetta for their routine needs. Given Balochistan’s vast and remote areas, creating new provinces will help resolve public issues at the local level, enabling residents to easily convey their matters and concerns to relevant departments and authorities. Furthermore, citizens emphasized that new administrative units will deliver facilities directly to the public’s doorstep and improve overall governance. The strong push by the Baloch populace for new provinces and administrative units clearly demonstrates their full support for this proposal.
