An American F-16 Fighting Falcon combat aircraft crashed and was destroyed near the US Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany.
According to the US military, the aircraft’s pilot successfully ejected in time, though they were transported for medical assistance.
The US military stated that the F-16 belonged to the 52nd Fighter Wing and crashed on Tuesday at approximately 2:30 PM local time at or near the Spangdahlem Air Base. Emergency teams rushed to the scene immediately after the accident and commenced operations.
