Nicholas DeMarinis, a Florida resident widely known on social media as “Nicky Buckets,” has shattered his own Guinness World Record by sinking a mini-basketball shot from a distance of over 100 feet.
DeMarinis successfully executed the record-breaking attempt on July 4, 2026, launching a tiny basketball into a mini hoop from a distance of 102 feet 11.76 inches. The achievement breaks his previous mark of 101 feet 8.47 inches set earlier in March.
The trick-shot enthusiast holds multiple world records in the mini-basketball discipline. In September 2025, he set the world record for the most consecutive mini-basketball shots made, scoring 232 consecutive baskets without a miss.
