Karachi Police conducted a series of targeted encounters across Nazimabad, Mominabad, Gulberg, Taimuria, Docks, and Sir Syed police jurisdictions overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of 12 alleged robbers, eight of whom were injured during exchanges of fire.
According to a Karachi Police spokesperson, encounters in Mominabad, Gulberg, Taimuria, Docks, and Sir Syed led to swift action against suspect groups. Law enforcement recovered illegal firearms, ammunition, snatched mobile phones, cash, and stolen motorcycles from the arrested individuals.
The injured suspects—identified as Amanullah (25), Awais (22), Bilal, Ijaz (27), Sikandar (18), Ashfaq (25), and Haider Ali (30)—along with their uninjured accomplices, were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and Civil Hospital under custody for medical treatment and formal legal proceedings
