Karachi’s Memon Goth police, alongside officials from the Chhipa welfare service, successfully apprehended four alleged dacoits following an armed exchange near the Mai Niani Shrine.
During the operation, two suspects sustained injuries during the shootout and were taken into custody at the scene. They were subsequently identified as Nazar Muhammad and Mahtab, and immediately transported to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medical treatment. Two additional accomplices, identified as Kamran and Bilal, were also arrested by law enforcement during the crackdown.
Police authorities recovered three pistols, a motorcycle, and other stolen items from the suspects’ possession. A formal investigation is underway, with authorities actively probing the suspects’ criminal records to trace their potential involvement in other street crime and robbery incidents across the city.
