The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly exploring the induction of foreign consultants into the national team’s coaching staff, with discussions underway to secure prominent international names.
According to media sources, the board is in active talks with former Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait to potentially appoint him as the bowling consultant. Tait previously served as Pakistan’s bowling coach from 2022 to 2023 and recently concluded a stint with Bangladesh, which he stepped down from due to family commitments across formats.
Additionally, negotiations are progressing with former New Zealand cricketer Martin Guptill to take over responsibilities as the fielding consultant, with strong prospects of finalizing an agreement. These developments follow the resignation of former bowling coach Ashley Noffke, after which the PCB advertised vacancies for both bowling and fielding coaching roles.
