The controversy erupted after a video clip surfaced online in which Masood declared his personal mission to encourage men to pursue four marriages. Additional comments within the video concerning minor girls sparked immediate backlash across digital platforms. Resharing a clip originally posted by digital creator Areej Jamil, Nadia Jamil labeled the scholar’s statements “incredibly dangerous,” warning that such discourse promotes misogyny and incites hate speech in a society already struggling with gender-based violence, assault, and crime.
