Veteran Pakistani actress and director Sangeeta has publicly revealed her third marriage, sharing that she has been happily married to film distributor Tariq Mendhro for the past 14 years.
Speaking during a recent talk show appearance, Sangeeta opened up for the first time about her current marital life while reflecting on the challenging experiences of her past relationships. She shared that her first marriage was with Humayun Qureshi and her second with Naveed Akbar, both of which ended in divorce before she eventually wed Tariq Mendhro.
The senior artist explained that after her daughters got married, she found herself feeling lonely. During this time, Tariq Mendhro proposed to her multiple times. Recognizing the need for companionship in her later years, she decided to accept the proposal. Sharing the secret behind her successful marriage, Sangeeta praised her husband, noting that he neither uses abusive language nor exhibits aggression, adding that whenever she gets angry, he calmly steps out of the room to maintain peace.
