Startling revelations have surfaced regarding a banned group in Azad Kashmir following the arrest of one of its key operatives, Jawad Muzaffar, who has openly confessed to participating in violent activities and assaults against law enforcement.
In his confessional statement, the arrested operative admitted that last year, a violent mob attacked and assaulted police personnel in the Chamyati area of Muzaffarabad, resulting in the martyrdom of several officers. According to Muzaffar, the participants of the violent agitation were equipped with timber batons, while many others carried illicit firearms.
He further disclosed that he and his associates were drawn into these violent actions due to the misleading and provocative narrative propagated by the group’s leadership. Concluding his statement, Muzaffar urged the youth of the region to distance themselves completely from such disruptive factions and refrain from partaking in violence.
