Law enforcement agencies investigating the targeted killings of police personnel in Lahore have compiled a comprehensive report detailing the timeline, suspect movements, and operational execution of the attacks.
According to the police report, target killers identified as Rehan, Fayyaz Butt, and Tariq launched their first attack at 6:38 PM in the Badami Bagh area near Pishe Khan Chowk. Armed with a Kalashnikov, the suspects opened fire on a police team, martyring a Sub-Inspector and a Constable. Following the shooting, the attackers boarded a rickshaw and traveled approximately 16 kilometers across the city.
Precision timeline data shows the suspects—a father-son duo alongside a third accomplice—arrived outside the center of a banned outfit at 7:59:07 PM. At 7:59:27 PM, they shot a Constable stationed at a nearby petrol pump, with one gunman continuing to fire at close range after the officer fell. Seconds later, at 7:59:44 PM, suspect Rehan fired warning shots in the air while fleeing via Multan Road. Investigators successfully tracked the final location of the suspects’ vehicle by 9:03 PM. Police officials stated that the attacks were premeditated with pre-selected times and locations, adding that law enforcement is closing in on the network behind the killings.
