A female passenger aboard an American Airlines flight traveling from Baltimore to Miami was taken into custody by law enforcement immediately upon landing after allegedly stripping off her clothes and engaging in disruptive behavior in front of fellow passengers.
According to aviation authorities, the incident occurred on September 11. Flight crew members promptly notified the cockpit and the airline’s operations center, requesting law enforcement assistance upon arrival. Rather than diverting the flight, the pilots continued the journey to Miami. Upon touchdown, police officers boarded the aircraft at the gate, detained the woman, and transferred her to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for further interrogation.
Officials stated that investigations into the incident are ongoing, and final legal actions against the passenger will be determined following the conclusion of the formal inquiry.
