A pair of adventurous goats in Portland, Oregon, captured the internet’s attention after a video of them nonchalantly boarding a city bus went viral.
Footage released by the local public transportation authority shows the two goats ascending the bus steps with surprising ease and confidence, resembling seasoned daily commuters. According to reports, the unique “passengers” were later escorted off the vehicle. Despite being removed, the goats continued their exploration, wandering back onto the city streets before disappearing from view.
The transit authority shared the video on social media, where it quickly went viral and attracted humorous commentary from users. One user jokingly commented that the goats were likely “going to be late for work.” Following a brief period of local fame, the goats’ owner was identified, and it was confirmed that both animals have since returned home safely. The owner noted that repair work has been completed on their enclosure gate to prevent future unscheduled transit adventures.
