Speaking during an appearance on Maliha Rehman’s podcast, the iconic fast bowler revealed that he believed it would be better for Shaniera to perform Umrah first to familiarize herself with the holy rituals before undertaking the Hajj journey together in the future.
Echoing her husband’s sentiments, Shaniera Akram explained that she intentionally stepped back so Wasim could fully immerse himself in his personal spiritual experience without any distractions. She emphasized that this decision does not mean she will refrain from performing Hajj, expressing strong hope that they will fulfill the holy pilgrimage together one day, InshaAllah.
