Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has reiterated severe allegations against former PML-N Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Saqib Chadhar, claiming she faced harassment, blackmail, cyberbullying, and death threats following the end of their professional association.
Speaking on a recent podcast hosted by Rehan Tariq, Iqbal stated that despite filing a formal case regarding threats and harassment, legal proceedings inappropriately focused on claims of a personal relationship instead of the primary criminal charges. Clarifying her stance, Iqbal stated she was never in a relationship with Chadhar, emphasizing that consent can be withdrawn at any stage. She explained that she initially assisted with Chadhar’s political campaign grooming and photoshoots, but her father severed ties with him following allegations surrounding an alleged kidney controversy during the elections.
Iqbal alleged that after ending contact, she faced persistent threats and blackmail aimed at forcing a settlement, adding that she seeks legal resolution to move forward with her life.
