The fabricated notification—falsely attributed to the Cabinet Division bearing reference number 10-9/2026-Min-II and dated September 12—claimed that 15,000 personnel from Punjab, 8,000 from Sindh, and 500 from Balochistan were ordered to report to Islamabad by September 20, 2026.
Official fact-checking units and government spokespersons confirmed that no such directive has been issued. Authorities urged the public and digital media platforms to exercise caution and verify information through official channels before sharing unverified administrative documents.
