Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a statement claiming to have targeted U.S. military installations in Jordan and Kuwait, allegedly destroying multiple F-35 stealth fighters and military helicopters.
According to reports citing state-linked media, the IRGC Aerospace Forces targeted the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base (Al-Azraq) in Jordan using a barrage of ballistic missiles. The strikes reportedly hit development ramps and maintenance hangars, with Tehran claiming that three U.S. F-35 stealth aircraft were completely destroyed and three others suffered extensive damage.
In a separate release, the IRGC claimed responsibility for a strike on Kuwait’s Ali Al Salem Air Base under “Operation Nasr-2.” The assault allegedly targeted drone hangars and fuel storage tanks, resulting in fires and damage to U.S. military helicopters stationed at the facility.
U.S. defense officials have not independently verified these claims, and independent assessment of the structural damage remains ongoing amid heightened regional tensions.
