A formal case has been registered following a violent altercation on Shahrah-e-Bhutto, where an online taxi driver was physically assaulted and fired upon after a collision involving a black double-cabin vehicle.
The FIR was registered based on the complaint of the victimized online taxi driver, Hameed Sultan. According to the details, the occupants of the double-cabin vehicle intercepted the taxi, subjected the driver to physical abuse, and a security guard struck the victim’s hand with the butt of a weapon. The aggrieved driver also alleged that the individuals opened fire during the incident, which took place while a female passenger was seated inside the online cab.
Videos of the altercation involving the affluent individual and his security guard quickly circulated on social media. Taking notice of the footage, law enforcement has secured the digital evidence and launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
