National leg-spinner Usama Mir has sparked widespread discussion on social media after posting a cryptic and sarcastic comment following Pakistan’s series loss against England. In his post, the cricketer appeared to target recent policy decisions and structural overhauls implemented by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and team management.
Taking to his social media platform, Mir wrote, “It is surprising that someone destroyed the entire system and no one even noticed,” alongside the famous Urdu proverb, “No use crying over spilled milk.” Cricket fans quickly interpreted the post as a critical reaction to the PCB’s recent decision to drop key personnel, including head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed, bowling coach Umar Gul, and seven players, following consecutive Test defeats against England.
Although Usama Mir deleted the post shortly after publishing, screenshots quickly circulated across various social media platforms.
