The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued an updated Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) extending its airspace restrictions for all Indian-registered, operated, or leased aircraft through October 24, 2026. The closure remains fully enforced across both the Karachi and Lahore Flight Information Regions (FIRs).
Uninterrupted International Transit
Aviation regulators confirmed that the restriction applies strictly to Indian-operated carriers. Commercial transit flights operated by non-Indian international, European, and Middle Eastern airlines continue to use Pakistani airspace without operational delays or route alterations.
