On the solemn occasion of the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited Mazar-e-Quaid to pay their respects.
The Governor and Chief Minister laid floral wreaths at the mausoleum and offered Fateha, accompanied by provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, and the Additional Inspector General of Police. Representatives from the three branches of the Pakistan Armed Forces also visited the shrine, offering prayers and laying floral wreaths to honor the nation’s founder.
Speaking to media representatives at the venue, Governor Nehal Hashmi highlighted the enduring legacy of Quaid-e-Azam, stating that the founder sacrificed personal comfort and self-interest to secure an independent homeland for Muslims. Urging the public to adhere to democratic and constitutional principles, he stressed national unity while addressing contemporary socio-political challenges. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah remarked that Quaid-e-Azam successfully realized the vision envisioned by Allama Iqbal, expressing prayers for the nation’s continued stability and unity.
